Wij waren in Henley voor de regatta. De locatie was dus goed als je daarvoor gaat. Er was ook melk, weetabix thee en koffie.

− Een aantal meubelstukken waren kapot, gat in buro, gat in wasbak, afdekking bad zat los. Luxaflex was ook deels gebroken, waardoor je niet makkelijk bij de ramen kon komen en het moeilijk was om het licht buiten te houden. Met een niet al te grote investering zou dit te verhelpen zijn. De vaatwasser zat vol opgeslagen pannen. Internet info moet geüpdated worden.

Disappointing that there was no working oven and hob, otherwise comfortable and warm.

Warm and roomy apartment and in the main it was nicely furnised - but see below regarding facilities. A bit of a hike up hill from the town centre and river but Henley is a lovely location.

− Found out on the day of arrival (Christmas eve) that the cooker and hob weren't working! We were planning to cook our Christmas dinner there- had all the food packed in the car ready to go! Apparently it was a last minute emergency and they had had to disconnect the gas. We were offered the option of cancelling with a refund but it would mean not seeing the family at Christmas as there was little chance of getting somewhere else nearby at such a late date. Didn't want to risk ending up with nothing so stuck with it. Surprised to find on arrival an electric oven!! Can understand if there was a last minute issue with the hob but can't see why a problem with the gas hob would stop the electric oven working. Looked like the oven hadn't been working for ages as half the knobs had brokem off. Still waiting for an offer of a partial refund to compensate for the facilities not being as described. Bed rather hard and a few other minor issues (hole in top of wash basin and bath side panel cracked and falling off and no plug for the bath).

Henley weekend

Spacious flat. Good location. Well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds. Spotlessly clean. Excellent communication with hosts who were quick to respond to any queries.

− A few areas were in need of repair, eg, paint coming off kitchen radiator so rust visible, same with washing machine and there was a hole in bathroom sink. An information pack would have been helpful detailing wifi code, what to do with keys at end of stay, etc. As I said the hosts were quick to respond to any queries, but a pack would have given the information.

Adequate but needs a bit of attention.

Cereals were provided but only a small amount of milk. It would be useful if a pint of milk could be provided on arrival.

− Apartment is looking a little tired. The blinds in the bedrooms are broken, the dishwasher doesnt work and the toilet flush is faulty. We also had difficulty locking the front door.

Great location, quiet area, the host was amazing and extremely responsive, and the place was cosy

In general a very good experience.

The hosts were very nice and great location for the Henley Festival; only a 20 minute walk.

− They had only just started renting out this property so weren't totally prepared, so I had to wait for an extra hour from my notified check in time to get access.
