− Mycket under ombyggnad. Många att dela badrum och att be om varmt vatten till dusch.

Un lugar encantador para alojarse en un ambiente familiar. Su proximidad a la zona de senderismo del Popocatépetel y al interesante pueblo de Cholula hacen de Calpan una base ideal.

This place was really special for us. We enjoyed staying with Mr. Edmundo and his family. They hosted us with delicious breakfast and we got to ride the horses the Mexican way! That was definitely something to remember. Make sure you ride to San Andrés de Calpan, that is where the ranch is located (look for Cabalgatas Puebla on Google Maps).

− It was a bit cold during night. Luckily we were provided with enough blankets to keep ourselves warm. :)

Casual informal ranch stay to escape the city

If you’re looking for a rustic, calm and simple ranch stay away from the city this is the place! Calpan is a nice slow town so there is plenty of time to enjoy the surrounding nature by hiking and horse riding (amazing, recommend you give them a go !!) with the neighbouring Cabalgatas Puebla! Having breakfast with the ranch owner and his wife made me feel like I was part of a family. Perfect for backpacker or casual traveler who wants to get away and experience life in a ranch. I love the little cat Cazadorcito!

− This was more like an Airbnb than hotel experience as the room I got wasn’t the one pictured though it was clean, secure and warm as I was given plenty of blankets. There were other long term guests to let me in but would have liked my own key. The address needs to be updated as the property is in Calpan and not Hildago
