8.0Nice small apartment in the proper center center of the town
− Slightly noisy in the street…
Perfect the old town is lovely , there is parking nearby for €3 also . Easy to find with the information from the prope
9.0Location was perfect , view of the street was great . It was modern and little touches of bottles of water and wine in the room
− The cleaner trying to get in the room and ushering us out at 1 minute before check out , no full length mirror or plug near a mirror . But only minor issues considering the location

Do Yourself a Favor.
1.0Location.
− Booked the room and received a long list of instructions; all I was interested in were those to gain entry and get the room key. It’s a hotel room, I don’t need an Operator’s Manual for the space shuttle. The room was warm, AC was off. I saw several posted signs: “don’t throw paper in the toilet (understandable given the island has an ancient sewer system), turn off the lights when not in use and AC when leaving the apartment.” I felt like I was being lectured by a parent. Internet was incredibly slow, about 2-3 minutes for each website page to populate. I contacted the manager who said a technician would arrive on Monday (four days later). I woke early for a tour and to take a shower. There was no hot water. I texted the mananger but I didn’t receive a response for almost 2 hours (he was sleeping; I’d already checked out without a shower or shaving). He told me I had to turn it on because it was a “safety issue” to leave it in operation, a practice supposedly true throughout Corfu (other hotels I stayed at did not have this policy). He also told me these instructions were part of the long list, along with: “Take the trash out daily. When checking out, fold the used towels and sheets to place them on the bed to make it easier for the cleaning woman.” “Really?!” I thought. “I’m on vacation. I want a room ready for occupancy, I don’t want to do the cleaning woman’s work, I don’t need a bunch of instructions.” Location is excellent; bathroom incredibly small. Do yourself a favor, there are other nicer hotels that are even cheaper and in a better location.
