1.0− We did not stay in this house. The pictures online are very nice but the area it is located in is not. We did not feel that it was a safe neighborhood to stay or to have a vehicle in overnight. We didn't know this ofcourse unfortunately until arriving to the home. I can't leave a review of how the home was inside because we did not enter the house. We were not able to get a refund for the property. After researching further, this area is not rated as one of the worst areas in Birmingham as far as safety is concerned but also not considered a safe area either. The statistics for the area is 1 in 59 people will likely experience a violent crime. So I lost $600 but my family is safe. Definitely review the area well before reserving. Lesson learned!!

10.0As a “first time” Airbnb renter, we could not have asked for a more perfect place. Our hostess was exceptional making sure we had everything we needed during our stay and was available anytime. The property seemed to be an older home. However, it had been well maintained and renovated. The renovations of the property had a very meticulous feel to it as if attention was given to every single detail. It was very classy and elegant but more importantly it felt as though you are home. If you are ever in Birmingham, we definitely recommend staying here. A beautiful home, inside and out with the most comfortable beds, peaceful neighborhood and minutes away from downtown Birmingham.
