Your private oasis awaits
9.0It is its own private oasis between the bustle of Cairns and Port Douglas with the pool, own property, and outside living space. We spent a week and it was an easy routine of relaxing by the pool and going into town when we wanted. The pool made it especially mangeable because we were there during a period of extreme heat and had no AC.
− There is access to beach across the road but you really have to drive to get to a usable beach so heed that in the listing.

8.0We had a super relaxing stay, the caretakers were excellent - on-site and available but left us in peace. The property was very comfortable and clean, excellent internet and lovely location close to lots of beaches and activities but secluded and private.
− The kitchen could have been a little better equipped. At first glance the glassware and plastic containers looked dirty but I think it was the dishwasher/water residue, as I ran everything through the dishwasher and they came out looking the same. There was also an ant problem in the kitchen (and in the dishwasher in particular) that was a little tricky to manage.

10.0Amazing! The caretakers were very helpful and super responsive. The property is really like a little slice of heaven. Very private yet easy to find and close to beaches and restaurants. It’s halfway between Port Douglas and Cairns. The view is breathtaking and all you hear is the ocean crashing. I would definitely stay here again!
− There is no dryer, but the caretaker got us a drying rack so it wasn’t a huge deal. There is also no AC, but there’s so many screen doors and fans that it was easy to keep the house pretty cool.
