La posizione della casa (una bella costruzione in pietra del 1583),il terrazzino esterno e la loggia interna. Bagno con doccia funzionale e cucina ben attrezzata (ma poco illuminata).

− L'assistenza di Happy Rentals è stata praticamente inesistente, a qualsiasi osservazione ci è sempre stato risposto "la Val Bavona è una valle selvaggia per amanti della natura", e ciò anche per il phon in dotazione alla casa (che non funzionava)! Purtroppo ha fatto molto caldo e c'erano miriadi di mosche, impossibile cenare fuori. Letti scomodi e stanza al piano superiore poco areata.

The view and location are amazing. This is the only reason for which this property did not receive a 1/10. Val Bavona is an incredible valley with great views and history. If you wish to come here please consider booking up the valley from Sabbione. There are better properties and nicer villages.

− There is no chance that this property is rated at 8.8 (excellent) on Booking.com. We had a big issue with this property which is not advertised correctly. It is important to note that the pictures are a masterpiece and surely put in a great light a property which, in our opinion, should not be on the market. The house is in a (more or less) abandoned location (due to a natural disaster from 2024) and is made entirely of stone. This is not an issue as the fireplace works fine and it also heats the radiators in the other rooms. The issue is the lack of wood. While the property advertised that a heating system was available, it did not advertise the fact that wood is not included. It is important to note that the house stays at ~16degC even though outside were ~26-28degC, therefore no way to go without heating, probably even during summer time. We were offered a box of wood which only lasted a night. When requesting additional wood, we were told by the property manager to go to the shop and buy some. Final cost for wood -> approximately CHF25.00 per day (10-15% extra to our accommodation). We agreed to let go of this and go ahead. After taking the first shower, the black mold in the bathroom which we originally noticed, became more apparent. We wanted to continue our trip there as we liked the area very much. However, after the second shower you could not ignore the mold anymore. It is important to note that my wife is pregnant and we can not afford any health risks at all. After two nights it was the moment to call it off. We let the property manager know about our decision, as well as Booking.com. Property management employee expressed his apologies and said there was not much he could do (I do think he was genuine on that and overall tried to be helpful). We packed our bags and left. In the initial pictures, bathroom was newly painted (therefore misadvertised). Booking.com did not manage to do much, therefore we will file a complaint with the authorities.

Sie außergewöhnliche Lage in Fontana und die grandiose Bergwelt mit den Alpi delle Fame !

Sehr idylisch im Val Bavona wo mal richtig gut abschalten und die Natur geniessen kann.
