Could’ve been great, but won’t stay again
5.0Location was great for going to Silver Dollar City. Floor plan was nice and roomy. Contactless checkin so didn’t have to deal with sales pitches like so many resorts. Mattresses were decent.
− Hair. On vanities, in showers, on floors, towels. Floors/baseboards so dirty. I used disinfecting wipes I brought to clean urine from around toilet hinges. Only contact with any staff was via booking app chat. I even tried to call a number once with no answer or vm. Then they send a checkout email giving various cleaning instructions that we did not know about when booking (even though there was a $90 cleaning fee). Taking trash out to dumpsters and starting load of any towels we used in washing machine, etc. I am trying not to believe that is the only washing those towels receive between guests. Also, the bedspreads and throw pillows were yuck. There was dried food (we hope) on one comforter. Bed pillows were ridiculously flat. Bed sheets are microfiber (polyester) so just so much sweating. Some washcloths were microfiber too. I’m ready to no longer do resorts and just stick to hotels. Also, the one time we checked the pool, there looked to be about 60 people in the very small area. Not sure if there is an office to get help if you needed it. Never saw a wifi password either. Was not included in the messages we received from property.
Our stay was amazing and the property was beautiful and comfortable.
10.0Literally everything! The beds are so comfortable. The balcony was a dream. We loved the movie and popcorn outside. This morning was sad having to leave. My kids were upset we had to leave and told me that I need to buy it. Thank you so much for sharing your place with us. We will definitely be back
