I would not stay overnight in Amalfi. It is a tiny place with thousands of tourists visiting. Stay in Sorrento or Salern
5.0Not much. Just overhyped by the owners!🙁 The host Michele was nice. He tried his best.
− Tiny lift to go down to the apartment. The maid vapes in your face as if it's ok. Then she tells you it's not smoking when you can smell the nicotine! It is smaller than it looks. The chair cover on the balcony is not clean. No proper bed cover, no duvet cover, just a normal duvet without a cover, and expect you to cover yourself, not knowing how used it last. The bathroom is tiny. In one room, the shower head did not work. It needs a proper scrub! Wall tiles laid on the floor😳 it was like what? The private platform down below is like 100 steps down. Good luck trying to get there and back up. The owner sent us a letter stating there is a market just a stone's throw away; it's not true. The town is a few miles away downhill. Going back up will cost you €30 by taxi buggy or €1.50 by bus, if you get one.
