8.0• The location is wonderful, steps from Piazza di Spagna. • The kitchen was well stocked, and there was a lovely surprise waiting in the fridge — a fruit basket with water, juice, milk, and muffins. • WiFi was fast and reliable, and there are two TVs.
− • The listing says "One-Bedroom Apartment" with a separate bedroom, but there is no separate bedroom. The queen bed is in an open loft up a narrow spiral staircase, and there are no interior doors except the bathroom. I wish the open layout had been clear before booking. • The spiral stairs were not manageable for my husband, who is recovering from knee surgery — he couldn't use them safely at night to use the bathroom below. We both ended up on the pull-out sofa bed, which was uncomfortable for two people and squeaked with every movement. With the sofa bed open, there was barely room to walk past it to reach the bathroom. • The bathroom doorway is low — anyone over 5'8" would hit their head going in and out. • The bathroom needs attention: mold on the wall outside the shower, a broken shower shelf (toiletries had to sit on the shower floor), no storage by the sink, and peeling paint with water stains on the shower ceiling.
