Great holiday to discover Lake Como, nice to be closeby to the lake within walking distance of Lenno

The location was ideal for us. Easy walking to the lido at Ossuccio, nice restaurant and shady grassed area with easy acces for the lake for swimmming and paddle boarding. The Como Greenway walkway allows easy walking access through shady passage ways into Lenno to the ferry port and the supermarket 15 -20min walk. There were several restaurants a 5-10min walk with other restaurants in Lenno. Walking to the Villa Bilbanello was a 20-30min walk from the apartment. Boat hire was a 5-10min walk from the apartment with "Hiring a boat" Ossuccio company. Great boat hire for a private excursion on the lake 150€ for 2 hrs. The island Comacina was nearby. We got a day pass for the ferries from Lenno port to Bellagio and Varenna old town to explore the castle. No need to use our car during our holiday we accessed everything on foot or by boat. The apartment was comfortable and spacious with a nice terrace with table chairs and private sun loungers on our terrace garden area. The pool was shared with other apartments but we mainly had private use during our stay. The pool was clean and well serviced. The apartment was perfect for our needs and matched the description as listed. Easy access by key box and accessible garage and parking for the car.

well equipped apartment, the kitchen has everything you need. it was nice to cool off in the pool after a hot day. according to the instructions, we got into the apartment without any problems. the owner was always in touch. A few restaurants are within walking distance, but it's better to get to the store by car

Huge disappointment

Local staff seemed friendly and helpful. When we needed them to provide a key (as our car got locked in the garage!), and the electricity went out, they helped us fast. Pool was nice and clean, apartment mostly clean, and basic things in place. Location in walking distance to the beach which is nice in peak season where finding parking is practically impossible. Nearest super market 3 km away.

− Prior to coming to Como, we looked thoroughly for a good place for our family of five to relax and have fun, and thought this was the right one. We were terribly disappointed. 1. First of all the view is nothing like in the pictures; there is no lake view from the pool, instead of the view from the terrace there is now a house under construction which comes with constant construction noise so that you can hardly talk when sitting outside. 2. When we arrived the apartment was burning hot, and it took 24 hours to cool down to a normal temperature. It’s not air conditioning as described in the room facilities, but a cooling system that works fine once started. Fans were provided indeed, but still in boxes so we had to start our vacation by building the fans (with no tools at hand). 3. Only very basic equipment, and just one glass per person, one plate etc. Had to do dishes all the time. Quite a few key things missing such as a toaster, a kettle, and a bread knife.  4. The outdoor games announced in the description were nowhere to be found.  5. The place had no ambience whatsoever, it was cold and uncharming. Only bright white lamps in the living room. Cheapest furniture, plastic, cheapest tableware. No outdoor games as advertised. This place was obviously bought just to rent out.
