Cosy 2 bedroom in quiet location near town centre

9.0

Perfect for our group (3 adults, 1 teen and 2 dogs). It's In a quiet location close to town centre (10/15 min walk). Fields to walk dogs very near to property. We stayed over New Year and weather was very cold but the property was nice and cosy. Parking available in residential streets opposite, no issues. Would stay here again if visiting Harrogate in the future.

Cutre y desagradable

Nada

Spacious and reasonably clean, walkable distance to the city centre

When we arrived the whole corridor was very stinky… turns out the smell was coming from the bathroom. The fan in the bathroom was not working… we had to get some toilet freshener to ease the smell. It was not until the following day that the smell eased. The cooker was not working well, it would heat up and cool off… i ended up making eggs in the oven and rice in the microwave. There is limited privacy in the bigger bedroom as there is a window in the door and one could see from outside and the sensor light inside switches on each time someone walks by and at night if partner gets up for whatever reason it disturbs sleep. Also there is no handle on the door making it difficult to open the door from inside, near impossible if you have long nails.

Great accommodation, pity about the unpleasant neighbour

8.0

We relocated from the states and this property had everything we needed to be comfortable for the week between arriving and closing on our new house. Checking in was easy. The owner was as responsive and on hand. Well equipped apartment.

The property is on a busy road and getting to the grassy area across the road with two small dogs was pretty challenging. The washer / dryer is not very eco friendly and takes a long time to complete a load, even on the most economical setting. Still, we were grateful to have it. The only really negative thing was a most unpleasant upstairs neighbour who posted rude notes under our door complaining about absolute nonsense. Ironically, the neighbour is very heavy footed and there is a lot of stomping around upstairs late into the night, and then accusations about phantom dog howling and dog poop in the morning. If you can shrug off a small minded “Karen” with a stick up her rear end, this is a great place to stay.
