Quirky place close to the Gloucester center and docks
8.010 min walk from city center, interesting and quirky apartment, comfortable. Good communication and easy to get into. Nice to have free parking, albeit a bit unclear where to park exactly, as there were more spots available (good!)
− Some more cleaning (dead flies in windowsill) Older house, so you hear a bit more. Did not find a cloth drying rack, which would have been helpful after doing laundry. Surrounding block/area was a bit less appealing, although it never felt bad.
The apartment is nice, but the conditions are not ideal.
5.0The location was excellent, and it was very easy to get to with all the instructions provided. I arrived early and was able to put my belongings down before exploring.
− This place was a real letdown. The property was in terrible condition. I walked in my socks on the floor, and they were covered in black dirt. To make matters worse, the shower had hair from the previous occupant. The apartment was also humid and sticky, which was annoying since there was no air conditioning. In short, I wouldn’t stay there again.
Would definately return great place to stay.
10.0Loved the quirk of this property. Plenty room for what we needed. Courtyard a lovely touch too. A wee citronella candle to keep flies away.
− Weather was exceptionally hot and did smell slightly fousty from cleaning cupboard but I only think this was from heat.
We enjoyed our weekend break
