10.0Beautiful farmhouse with so much character and wonderful decor and lots of special touches. Room was very comfortable. There were two bathrooms, one with bath and one with shower, and they're not en suite but are for your private use. Breakfast was fabulous - the best. Philippa was a great host and made us feel very welcome. Location seemed remote when first arrived and country lanes were narrow, but we drove into Carmarthen for dinner and it wasn't too far at all. We would highly recommend Ynyswen.

10.0Location in rural Wales is very quiet and remote, as expected. We used it to stop over coming from the black mountains and going to Pembrokeshire next day. The breakfast was phenomenal.
Had wonderfully peaceful and pleasant stay.
9.0Beautiful location and incredible house. Very clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. Breakfast was exceptional.

Please note that there are no private bathrooms. However, guests have the first floor entirely to themselves with exclusive use of both a full bathroom and a separate shower room. When a party reserves only one room, the other is always made unavailable for booking by anyone else for the duration of their stay so there is no sharing with strangers.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.
