Really lovely. Enjoyed the house and location.

Great location and lovely kitchen and outdoor area.

− Some misses on the cleaning from previous guest/s. Top of bath wasn’t cleaned well at all. Carpet in lounge also needs a good vacuum. Only thin blankets were supplied in the middle of winter but thank you to Jasmine who sourced doonas on a Sunday to make our second night much more comfortable. There were a few little touches missing that I have had supplied at other house stays that would have made it nicer E.g. a few pieces of firewood for the fire-pit and some kindling.

Inside was nice. Outside was not. Host ignored us and we are still waiting for a refund to be issued

The house was comfortable overall. Good location.

− We had a problem with electricity going off in the evening. The contact number provided wasn't an emergency number, it went through to voicemail which was frustrating. Garden wasn't clean. I tried to clean up the dog poo when I first got there so it would be a clean yard for my dog to run in, but it was too disgusting to pick up all the old poos so I left them there and gave my dog restricted access to the yard. We cleaned up everything after our own dog when we left but the condition of the garden was sick for anyone moving in. I felt like Shaun did not want to talk to me because I have been asking for a full refund of the amount taken from my account earlier this month, which I am still owed. Yes I may be after the extra credit card surcharge amount that was taken from my account after an automated (second) payment was taken from my account, but this was not my chosen method of payment for which I did a bank transfer to specifically avoid the extra surcharges. This should be refunded please.
