Mountainside cabin adventures
6.0Location, privacy and rustic feel of the beautiful mountains. Bed was comfy. Good communication by property management company before and while staying. Hot tub was nice. FYI new neighbors on the other side of hot tub in near future. A cabin is being built. A private curtain will be needed. Not too far from sightseeing adventures.
− Kayaks were presented as a plus on the website, which was one of the reasons we booked the cabin, BUT you have very poor access to the river, AND you aren't informed that you must have a plan for drop off and pickup. If you have a family and they don't all want to go Kayaking that works but when it's two people it doesn't work at all. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED 😞 The cabin inside was clean, the fireplace platform right inside the front door is dangerous to your feet. Within 10 mins of being there my husband smacked is feet off of twice. I had to block the sides with a cooler and laundry basket. The deck has too much furniture on it and not enough space to walk back to the hot tub. The upkeep to the property outside was disappointing. The fire pit needs some upkeep as well as the furniture surrounding it. Flowers that look like weeds need desperate attention . The grill needs some love. Both trash bins were overflowing with trash. It seemed like there was well over a month's worth of trash in both of them. The driveway needs to be regraded. Do not try bringing a low bottom car it may end up terrible. Housekeeping and maintenance needs to make some improvements.
This was a great place to get away from the stress and really decompress

10.0We love the quiet. The views from the porch. The river nearby (and access to water flotation devices). The ease to drive downtown once we knew it was basically 2 turns ;) But everything was easy to find and it's obvious that a lot of care went into the space.
− We kept stubbing our toes on the wood stove platform lol. Maybe add some kind of protective corners? Or a different color than the floor?
