Good location and well furnished duplex partment.

Apartment was very nicely furnished and is an excellent location for Hemel Hempstead main street access and short walk to the main shops. The host replied back to messages straight away and I wass sent whatsapp messages which were straight forward for key lock pick up and rear door access. Bed was as comfy, excellent shower and bathroom facilities

− Not super easy to find the back door after my drop off. Front door code wouldnt work and I think there was a problem with that keypad but someone let me in the only time I tried to use it. Had internet issues but TBF to the contact they sorted them to the best of their ability there and then. Curtains in the lounge were a bit tatty and didnt totally block the evening street lights, very little toilet roll in the bathroom upstairs. It was a hot day and the flat has no aircon so was stupid hot all night.

Need deep clean

The apartment has a few notable advantages: it is spacious and comes with a dedicated parking space, which is a significant benefit.

− However, the property would greatly benefit from a thorough deep cleaning. The mirrors were not properly cleaned, and many surfaces felt sticky and greasy to the touch. We also noticed several maintenance issues: the shower head holder is broken, causing water to spray from the side, and some of the curtains are damaged and partially detached. The quality and condition of the towels and bed linen did not give the impression of a well-maintained rental property. Additionally, the bed measures 140 × 200 cm, which may be uncomfortable for taller or larger guests. The biggest issue was the temperature on the second floor. Although a fan is provided, it was not sufficient to cool the space. The bedroom windows face the main street, and on Friday night there was constant noise from people outside, including loud shouting from intoxicated pedestrians. Keeping the windows open was necessary due to the heat, but this made it difficult to sleep because of the noise. Closing the windows reduced the noise but left the room extremely hot and lacking fresh air. Overall, the apartment has good potential thanks to its spacious layout and convenient parking. However, to provide a more comfortable guest experience, it would benefit from a proper deep clean, attention to maintenance issues, and a greater level of care and attention to detail throughout the property.

The property was clean. The rooms were nice and comfortable. The dinning room was lovely. The small details were sweet and there were enough beds to fit a family.

− The car park isn’t the easiest to find. They postcode displayed isn’t the correct one and you will end up on the high street and getting a fine…
