Terrible experience
1.0− After six people had journeyed by rail from various parts of the country to meet upon arrival we were told that the house had developed an electrical fault that precluded it from being used at all we were offered two different flats that were not in the location that we required and were not particularly clean. We would never have rented them. Since we were not even allowed to stay in the property that we rented, we asked for a significant refund but were only offered a small fraction. I am extremely suspicious of the fact that the property developed a significant electrical problem the minute that we ask for check-in instructions. I have referred the matter back to booking.com to hopefully receive a refund. We needed to stay together to prepare for an event the next day and were unable to do so staying in separate flats. I am a Genius level 3 and also a landlord and I understand problems occur but when they do you need to be prepared to refund and not expect to make a profit when you have made a mistake.
