− Words fail us regarding the atrocious condition we found the property in. From the broken handle to the front door(which we were instructed to raise to secure the door), to humans hair and dirt in the beds, dirty unusable towels, the grime on bathroom soap dish, bedroom curtains with dried on spit, sticky dirty finger marks on the kitchen cabinets. Generally most surfaces, even the backs of the chairs, were sticky and uncleaned, along with dirt on the kitchen surfaces, dirt accumulated in the corners of the corridor, cobwebs everywhere and the stench in the kitchen was so disgusting that it was a clear indicator NO CLEANING had taken place. We did not want to sit on anything or touch anything. The cupboard in the bathroom housed further dirty towels and a dirty mop, just to emphasis how disgusting this was, the sponge scourer left for our use was brown and had hardly any scourer on it. Add to this, their concept of 'snacks' was leftover pasta and oil left by previous tenants and this is described as a luxury apartment is misleading. When we asked about the space we should park in, the individual was not helpful, as they were unaware that the parking spaces were now under a new allocation so we had to ask a neighbour if we had parked legitimately. The address on the system is also incorrect, it wasn't 10 Langham Way as advertised. But was actually 12 Langham Way Flat 10. We tried to contact the phone number provided to inform them we were not prepared to stay and how disgusted we were and whether another apartment was available as this was unliveable, we had no response and stayed only 40 minutes in an attempt to find alternate accommodation. We had travelled in from Ramsgate and returned to Ramsgate the same day as the hotel near the event we were hoping to attend had no accommodation available. We work for a cleaning company and have carried out end of let cleans and know the standard to expect. The condition does not deserve 1.0 but a 0.
