Mirage Arillas Studio Type A2

Brilliant location in appealing town, just needs a few tweaks

Mirage Arillas Studios is in a prime position right in front of the lovely Arillas Beach. The little town was just right for us, several good restaurants and a few bars, just along the front, a level walk, perfect for an evening stroll. We were there near the end of the season so things were quieting down but there was still a buzz, although it's not a place for all night clubbing. That's fine for us. The sunsets were fabulous, get a cocktail and sit and watch the show. The Mirage has a beautiful garden with lots of flowering bushes and the pool is a good size and not too cold. There's a bar and a restaurant. We enjoyed the lookout point above the restaurant for a cocktail at sunset. We didn't use the restaurant. The staff all work very hard. Our studio was a good size and the beds were comfy. The a/c did a good job and covers any noise (not a big problem). There was interesting wooden decor on the walls.

− The Mirage could make their studios so much more appealing with a few easy updates. Two of each kitchen item, 1 bread knife, no sharp knives or cooking utensils, nothing extra at all, makes it seem rather parsimonious. There was no toaster, as described. We asked at the bar for wine glasses and smaller plates and the barman was happy to give them to us, but if the cleaners found anything extra, it was taken back. Cooking a meal would be difficult. The shower was basic, the bathroom becomes a wetroom, which is fairly common in Greece but needs updating. A tip for showering - put the bathmat outside the door and step out onto it.The wifi was hit and miss, but fine in the garden and bar. The apartment description stated a seaview but there wasn't any.

The place is incredible – beautiful location, very comfortable rooms, and the team was just fantastic. Super friendly and helpful staff, excellent service from start to finish. We truly felt welcome and well taken care of. Highly recommend!

Nice relaxing stay

Located close to the beach. Spacious studio apartment with separate bedroom and lounge/kitchen area. Nice pool area. Friendly staff.

− Felt as though it could be cleaner. Towels definitely need replacing as they were a bit like drying yourself on sandpaper! There were dozens of dead mosquitoes on the walls and ceiling where they’d been splatted but not cleaned off which was a bit unpleasant. Mosquitoes definitely a problem here but appreciate they can’t really help that- although our door/window had clearly been left open with the screen door open also before we arrived as there were lots of mosquitoes in the room.

Practically on a beautiful sandy beach with crystal clear water. Apartment was lovely, with a kitchen and patio. Large swimming pool and smaller one for young children. On the strip with many bars and restaurants within minutes. Hotel has an fantastic restaurant and bar. Staff very warm and friendly.

− If I had to pick something. The pillow was a little lumpy.

Chilled out stay in a beautiful town.

The location on the beach was brilliant! It provided for a very relaxed and chilled out stay in a very beautiful town. Good size studios. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful. a stroll to cafes and restaurants.

− The bathrooms were very small and the shower was open with water going everywhere. There were no toiletries provided contrary to what is stated on booking.com, also the kitchen had no cleaning products to wash dishes.
