Stunning apartment with panoramic views of the Dead Sea

10.0

Amazing place to stay with our family (2 adults and 2 kids) on the Dead Sea. The apartment is actually a resort complex overlooking the Dead Sea with beautiful pools (there are 3 but we just used the main large one). The apartment itself is amazing. Its huge (sleeps 5 with a king room, twin room and a single room), modern, very clean, super comfy beds and nice bathrooms. Its situated at the back of the resort with stunning panoramic views of the Dead Sea. The balcony is huge and offers amazing views. There is a restaurant by the main pool which has a decent menu and tasty food for breakfast, lunch and dinner with prices starting at 3JD but you can also bring your own food in if you want. To get to the Dead Sea you have to walk down a winding path (5 minute walk) but they also offer little buggy's to take you down and back up again. There is also free mud for a mud there too and showers to rinse off after getting out of the sea. Great host, really quick to reply and simple instructions to get in, simply arrive and the security will show you where to park and arrange with the staff to show you in and give you your key. Compared to the hugely expensive accompanying hotels, this place offers real value for money, especially when travelling with a family and would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to experience the Dead Sea. My only wish was that we got to stay longer than 1 night!

Just a couple of really minor things which didnt detract from the amazing experience at all but just something to be aware about. The apartment kitchen doesnt have many utensils - cutlery, plates/bowls, pans etc. We weren't cooking there but if you want to, just something to know. Also the restaurant by the pool doesnt open for breakfast until about 11am which was a little surprising but it seems that a lot of Jordan doesnt open until a it later in the morning. There is also a washing machine in the apartment but no washing powder/liquid which would have been great to have had (especially after travelling for a week with family), so if wanting to do any washing then you need to bring your own.

Amazing, private beach, pools, amazing apartament with a huge balcony

A lot of mosquitos so keep in mind to close the windows at night. And there were not much kitchen utensils if you want to cook.

Overpriced, unclean, and unprofessional – I would never stay here again.

Unfortunately, nothing stood out in a positive way. The experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived.

The place was extremely dirty and poorly maintained. What shocked me most was that they tried to charge an additional $50 just for a late checkout. For that price, I could’ve stayed at a 5-star Marriott hotel where the service is exceptional, everything is spotless, and late checkout is complimentary. This place does not deserve to be listed, let alone marketed as a resort.
