Beautiful place
10.0Out stay at the Stone barn was perfect! The place is exquisitely decorated (old, but restored furniture, attention to detail is incredible). It was chilly outside when we were there, but the place was pleasantly warm (efficient heating and lots of light). It has everything needed for a comfortable stay – the kitchen is modern and fully equipped (all the utensils etc one could need), the layout is very functional, the furniture comfortable (the bed was perfect), towels etc are all provided. The setting is incredibly idyllic – old village, as if frozen in time. The location very convenient for exploring Primorska region, but Ljubljana is an hour drive away. Free parking on the premises. The hosts were professional – discrete, kind and very knowledgeable about the region (wine advice was flawless). Good value for what you get. All in all - the place is a real gem.
