Loved the view. We needed comfy beds, with preferably 5 separate bedrooms as we were friends travelling together. Some beds were better than others, but on the whole, we were happy. The house was very well equipped. A little dated and everything mis-matched, but we all enjoyed ourselves.

− Booking this house was not fun. It needs to br fixed! I thought I had booked with Booking.com, then the booking went through an agent who did not read emails, when asked who they were, so did not know they were the agent for the property and even after requests, they did not tell me that they were a partner or agent of booking.com. I was dealing with 3 separate groups, and getting nowhere. Wasn't sure whether the deposit and balance were actually going to the correct place or whether we were being ripped off. I eon't book through them again. The house was advertised as air conditioned. With the first couple of days, we had humid conditions and there was no air conditioning. There were supposed to be 2 full gas bottles for the BBQ. There was only one, and it was empty. No 2nd bottle there. The BBQ plate was not cleaned either. There was a key safe at side of the house, but we had to go to the after hours lock box at side of the agents, H Real Estate.

Location was excellent. Office staff were very helpful and assisted us with linen and towels.

− Rooms dont have heaters, if you're travelling with infants its ideal to bring your own oil heater.

Overall a great place to stay with our family, we thoroughly enjoyed our week in Merimbula.

We liked the well stocked kitchen, bookcase with a variety of games and sand castle toys for the toddler. Plenty of seating in the living room. The layout of the house was excellent for the 3 generations staying. Upstairs bedrooms are very quiet and conducive to sleeping in while small grandchildren are awake in the living room.

− No green bin for our food scraps. One balcony chair was broken, limited outdoor chairs on the balcony. These are minor compared to all the positives of this property.

Everything was catered for to make a totally enjoyable stay.

Location was within walking distance of shops, activities and lake. Views from the back deck were phenomenal!

The house the view was amazing

− There were no sheets on the beds no pillow covers I we had to fold the blanket in half and sleep in between no towels were provided had to go out and buy other then that all was OK lucky it was a fishing trip with my mates and not with the family my mrs would have lost her cool
