8.0We loved the accommodation and the facilities. Extremely good value for money!
− There was nothing that I did not "like" per say. Instead, I would say that some of the things that could do with a little improvement are as follows; 1) The garden chairs - as they are 4 single legged chairs situated on the grass with the garden table and fire pit. I kept on sinking into the grass until the legs were completely submerged. Therefore, I had to put the chairs on the path, far away from the fire pit. Which meant I could no longer feel the warmth from the fire. A simple fix for this could just be getting garden chairs that have U-shaped legs where the long parallel bars are on the ground, providing a larger surface area to prevent sinking into the grass. 2) The single bed that is suspended above the main bed - I felt as though, this was something the cleaners may not be paying enough attention to as this bed was very dusty which me and the other two people I was staying here with did not realise until one of us climbed into the bed and we all saw dust practically rain down onto the double bed below. Everything else at this accommodation was spotless! So, I just think this was a missed detail when being cleaned. 3) Communication - For 99% of the booking process, the actual stay and checking out. The communication was 10/10 and Joey is super friendly and professional. However, that 1% that was missed was when I communicated to Joey before our arrival that I would like a fire pack and disposable BBQ to be left at the cabin for when we arrived and it was communicated that my wishes would be met. Moreover, when we had arrived I realised that neither the fire pack or BBQ was left there for us which was a little disappointing but, after calling Joey - he quickly got it resolved and the two gentlemen that came to drop them items off to me were professional and friendly. So no qualms there!
Peaceful site, beautiful views, cosy interior.
