10.0Very spacious and comfortable accomodation in beautiful location, next to the Tarka Trail and not far from lovely towns, beaches, and tourist attractions (such as RHS Rosemoor). Great communication with John (the host), and very friendly chickens (who kept us all amused). Everything we could possibly need and such a lovely large kitchen. Recommend hiring bikes for Tarka Trail, visits to RHS Rosemoor, Bideford, Appledore, Barnstaple, boat trips from Ilfracombe, swimming at Westward Ho! and Woolacombe. We had a wonderful week in North Devon. Thank you :)
− Nothing we did not like, although we did think that a wooden set of garden furniture would be a nice alternative (including a parasol) but we understand that (due to the weather) this is not practical. The existing furniture is functional and did not affect our holiday, therefore this does not affect the overall score for this property.
A relaxing comfortable stay in a beautiful bit of the Devon countryside.
10.0Lovely roomy house, all on one level. Brilliant for families, though we were two friends on our own. Clean, comfortable, and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. Lovely setting and garden. Perfect to sit out and watch the swallows in the evening. The owners were very helpful and informative. Lots of lovely walks nearby and plenty to do and see within a half hour drive. We visited Rosemoor Gardens and loved it, Clovelly and other coastal places. Beautiful countryside all around. Shops, cafes and takeaways a 5 minute drive away. Highly recommend this place to stay!

10.0We are so happy to have discovered this hidden gem in North Devon. Spent 3 days here in early June and wished we’d had more time to explore the surroundings. It’s the perfect location for cycling or walking the Tarka Trail, for nearby beaches or simply relaxing and enjoying the countryside views outside the massive windows. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, and the unit is beautifully furnished and comfortable. John is a very welcoming host and is happy to provide guests with information and recommendations. We highly recommend staying here and hope to return sometime.
