Absolutely disgraceful so disappointed,ruined our holiday

− The caravan was not clean,sheets,towels old and not white,dog hair everywhere all over the sofa on the worktops in the kitchen,mould smell throughout the caravan,it was dusty,the windows were all finger marks,microwave dirty,mould and dirt on the decking,seating pads on the decking chairs were dirty.the caravan is no way luxury it is very old and run down the main bedroom was smelly the wardrobe and dresser are falling apart,the headboard smelt of mould,there was a smell of urine in the living room ,the door was coming of the hinges at the top and we struggled to lock it because of this,it completely spoiled our holiday Baz is ripping people off the caravan is finished and he is taking peoples money under false pretences advertising the caravan as luxury,it is hands down the absolute worst caravan we have ever stayed in.DO NOT hire this caravan

The Haven Park and facilities were really good as you would expect from a Haven Park. However the caravan we stayed in was privately owned, booked through booking.com and the state of the caravan was appalling.

− We booked this privately owned caravan as it was advertised as being just 20 miles from Scafell Pike. What wasn’t made clear is that this was 20 miles as the crow flies — the actual drive was 1 hour 40 minutes, which was very misleading. When we arrived, we hadn’t received an entry code, which delayed us further. Once inside, the caravan was in an unacceptable condition: • Dirty throughout, with unchanged bedding (we found hairs, blood stains, and general grime). • An open packet of ham left in the fridge. • Mouse/rat droppings in the kitchen cupboard. It was clear the caravan had not been cleaned since the last guests. This was confirmed when the owner texted asking me to clean the caravan before leaving in exchange for a £25 refund. Completely inappropriate. We only stayed because we had an early start the next morning, otherwise we would have left immediately. Since messaging the owner after our stay, I have had no reply, no response, and no refund. Awful experience — would never stay again and cannot recommend.

The caravan was very well equipped comfortable and homely. Great location for all the amenities. Lovely balcony. Lovely welcoming gift which was a nice touch.

Very responsive with questions. We came as a large group and a few family members booked directly through haven, however, when comparing the two caravans ours exceeded in terms of quality, size and location. The ones booked through haven cost more but where on the smaller side and quite a walk from all the main attraction - this one was directly opposite all the shops and restaurants. They also kindly left board games, computer games and even a hairdryer and WiFi which the other caravan didn’t have. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Very fun, we want to come back again soon.

Lots of space and lovely out door area. We had a wonderful time

− The water was not very warm in the shower but it wasn't a big issue
