we had a wonderful 3 day stay. Very quiet and family friendly. Pool was great, especially for kids.

It took awhile to get a hold of the host, however, he called the following day. He was a nice person and help as much as he could. According to him he was unable to cancel the reservation. I called booking and the AI told me they were not able to cancel the reservation because it was after checking in. I called the host and he was able to cancel it. However, because I was unable to find another location, I called him back and asked him to keep the reservation. We were stuck :( ! I had a horrible time, I will not be using booking again. They should have found me a better to stay, especially for the money I paid, but no one did anything about it.

− The condo was not clean; the sofas were dirty and smelly as well as the pillows.There was a wasp inside the condo. When we went outside the patio door, there were wasps all over the place - We were not able to spend time in the patio, the host said it was nature and they couldn't do anything about it. The bedroom had a bad paint job, the main color was bushed on the side of the ceiling, the bathroom curtain inside the tub was plastic instead of cloth. No tissues. The pots and pans in the kitchen were not stainless steel (safe). There were only 3 small spoons and 3 huge spoons, so we had to wash the spoons after using them. The lake was far away. I don't believe the pictures represented the size of the condo or the location from the lake. I thought there was a fee charged for cleaning, but were were asked to clean up by washing all dishes and put the dirty towels and linens in the bathroom.

I was pleased by the location. It was a 2 minute drive to a sweet, chill beach and only a few minutes walk to a nice pool, an upscale hotel restaurant-coffee shop- bar, and two, more accessible and fun bar-restaurants. Lake Geneva city was 5 minutes away. The stove and refrigerator were both newish and effective, and the water pressure was impressive. The toilet paper was nice, too. The balcony was roomy and the host provided plenty of salt, pepper, and Keurig coffee pods. The A/C inserts worked a lot, but they did a good job cooling the place over a perfectly normal, low 80s, stay.

− I did not like the burdensome, invasive booking and check-in process: why would I be asked for DL and passport numbers? Nor did I appreciate the $185.00 cleaning fee. We cleaned before we left. All the turn required was a load of laundry. I was also chagrined by the small size and sleeping facilities for a unit that "sleeps 4." It was true, four could sleep there, but comfortably? In our case, one of our group was 6'-4" and the pullout was painful for him. So forget about the folding, slatted, rollaway cot. The other is 5'-9" and she tried the cot for a night, but ended up choosing the floor with the cot mattress for two nights. The recliners were decent for an hour or so, but not for a whole night. I was also surprised at the absence of a sharp chef's knife or a large salad/ popcorn bowl or two. And no cooking sheet? Sure, we made it work, and we had a fine time, but these items were notable.

The space was welcoming and made me happy with my booking immediately. We had an issue with the WIFI and super fast response and help. The view is beautiful and I would recommend this to others.

− I felt slightly deceived by the amount of space it would be. Yes you can sleep 4 but there's only one bedroom so not as much privacy as I was hoping for.
