Our second visit, and definitely not our last!
8.0We'd stayed at The Bunker 2 years ago on a bike trip round the Northumberland 250, when there were just the two of us, but this time, with 5 travelling, it seemed an ideal place to have our overnight stay again. We were texted early Saturday morning with the number for the KeyBox, and confirmed arrival and departure times. We arrived just after 6pm and once sorted, headed over to the clubhouse to get something to eat. But due to the World Cup, the kitchen was closed, but the barmaid, (who was excellent and very helpful, and even stayed a couple of hours after she was supposed to finish to keep the bar open for us!) gave us all the info on the local places who would deliver to The Bunker, so we got Pizza delivered! The members in the club were all very friendly and helpful, and we'll definitely be back, when there's no football on!! :-)
− Disappointed we couldn't get something to eat, or told in advance that there was no meals being served after 5pm, as we had dinner and breakfast here the last time, and both were great.

9.0Lovely quiet location for a get together to celebrate 2 40th birthdays
We had a great stay, thanks for being so accommodating.
10.0The rooms were spacious rooms and there was plenty of beds to stay in without feeling cramped. We had control of the heating which allowed us to increase/decrease it throughout the day. There was plenty of crockery and facilities to use so we were able to cook food as necessary. Great communications with the hosts in the run up to our stay. The golf club were really kind and allowed us to take some milk for a morning cuppa too. Thanks so much!
− The locks on the bathroom doors were difficult to use and slightly broken. We got stuck in their twice during the stay. Could do with more seating in the living area. We were a small party and were sat at the floor, which we weren't bothered by but others may be.
The Bunker was an excellent choice for us, as it is allowed for us to have our dog.
