Beautiful house in lovely grounds. Really lovely interior decor with very spacious rooms. The kitchen was well equipped and we appreciated some kitchen basics like salt and pepper,tea and coffee.

− Garden wasn’t prepared for us, however, the hosts sorted this out the day after our arrival. There was a nest of bees in a down pipe. The host said a bee man would come during the week but he never arrived. This meant that we didn’t want to leave the bedroom windows open during a heat wave.

Location is very rural - perfect for some lovely walks. Hot tub was great. Kitchen layout is great for large numbers of people with cooking facilities and sofa.

− Water pressure for showers was quite low.

It was for our 50th anniversary so was a nice place to celebrate with our children and grandchildren

The location was good. A little difficult to find.

− The dinning table should have been in the kitchen. A few bar stools in the kitchen around the island would have been good.The seating in the living room was more for looks but uncomfortable to sit on. The garden table a chairs were unloved. A long cobweb brush would help to remove the higher webs (Amazon)

We had an excellent stay at this property, everyone enjoyed our family vacation.

Nice quiet location. The kitchen was very large and amenable for a large group of people. The bedrooms and bathroom were very clean and there were bathrobes in all rooms. The heating was excellent except the lounge was not so warm, the log fire was excellent though and there was a good stock of wood.

− There was no welcome information regarding wifi passwords, instructions for guests. It was a little difficult to gain entry as the key lock box did not open very easily. The dining table was a tight fit for 10 guests.
