Emplacement sympa, appartement bien agencé avec de la place et une belle terrasse avec vue sur la mer. Lits confortables

− Le ménage n’était pas fait à notre arrivée, un balais mais pas de pelle pour ramasser, fuite dans une des douches et odeur désagréable dans une des salles de bain

Basic apartment close to the beach and Valencia - pool not open until mid-June

The balcony is very big with a nice view. It was lovely waking up in the morning and seeing the sun rise over the sea. The apartment is about a 30 minute drive to Valencia, which we took every day. Valencia had easy parking, making our decision to stay outside of the city one we did not regret.

− We chose this property based on the description that it had a rooftop pool, and the beautiful pictures of the pool. We had stayed at two other properties that week, both of which had pools that were open. However, when we arrived to this apartment, the pool was not filled. I thought perhaps it was a temporary issue, so I checked with the host, but was told that it would not be filled until mid June. I expressed that I was disappointed to learn this, since we had specifically chosen the apartment for the pool. The response I received was that I should have checked with them ahead of time. However, the listing on Booking.com is very detailed, so I don’t understand why they could not simply indicate that the pool would only be available beginning in June. Also, note that the apartment has no Wi-Fi (that detail IS included in the listing, but many renters might miss it since Wi-Fi is normally provided). The kitchen and bathroom lacked the basic staples most rental units provide (eg sugar, oil, salt and pepper, hand soap). There is some concerning water damage on the ceiling in the living room. Overall, this has been one of the very few apartments we have ever stayed in through Booking.com that I would not stay in Again

Perfect for a true Spanish holiday experience

Really nice apartment. We were met on arrival and provided with the necessary instructions.

− Nothing about the apartment. It was lovely and well catered for a sun holiday. My only advise is the roof top swimming pool although lovely didn’t have any sun loungers. I recognise it caters for mainly Spanish tourists or residents had we known as Ul tourists we may have looked for somewhere with loungers for relaxing. Didn’t spoil the holiday at all just an observation. Canet is beautiful and we loved it
