Host is a scammer, no smoke alarms, dangerous broken limbs outside, foot long lawn, broken dishwasher and bbq, just stay
1.0Host is a scammer… and the place is gross. Not a lot of things to like but I guess it would be the fish swimming under the dock.
− The host is a scammer. This is our second stay back to back for work. The first was with Airbnb and after 14 days he claimed we smoked in the house… we don’t smoke and he claimed a ton of gross garbage was us. This despite photo evidence of it being there at the start of the stay and cameras that overlook the area. As a former firefighter I ended up noticing NO SMOKE ALARMS! The grass was a foot or more long, there were dangerous branches hanging in the backyard since the spring ice storm. The dishwasher was broke and we kept being told that people would be coming in the house during the day. The BBQ was broke, nothing felt clean. The dock was sketchy. There were boats filled with water tied to the dock, the peddle boat didn’t even have a way to steer it. Just a full out disaster of a place, stay clear or they will take you for every penny.

− Sold as grill and chill. The BBQ grill was dirty, looked like it had never been cleaned. The garden very over grown, and there was no furniture on the varander next to the BBQ, overlooking the lake. There was no Grilling or Chilling.

1.0I had been looking for places in Peterborough UK. Your property came up and it was perfect. I booked and only then realized it was Peterborough Canada. I immediately got a hold of booking.com and told them the situation. They said they would let the property owner know and it would be up to them for a refund. I have heard nothing
