Amazing stay at Devon Cliffs!

Loved my stay here at Devon Cliffs. I'm a neat-freak and the Caravan was clean and tidy to my standards, I will definitely stay here again. Great communication from the private owner, who gave us specific details regarding location, upon arrival and I loved the little touches she gave us like biscuits and tea/coffee, which was well needed after a 3/4 hour drive from Birmingham. The complex itself is amazing, lots of entertainment in the evenings. It's well worth spending the money on the passes. My 12 year old daughter loved her stay here aswell, lots of activities for her to do.

− It's not a case of "what I didn't like", it was more of a case of more things needed throughout the caravan, such as more pegs on doors (in the bathroom, in particular) to hang towels/dressing gowns etc and a night lamp in the bedrooms. I know space is limited but some "on the wall" nightlights would create a nice ambience in the rooms. Also, I think better photos are needed, as the photos online don't do it justice, it was a lot bigger than what I thought and was pleasantly surprised. Other than that, I can't fault it.

Lovely sea view. Before our arrival Alice was very helpful. The beds were comfortable

− We arrived too early and messaged Alice to ask if we could get in and put all our cold stuff in the fridge, she made us wait until 4pm in the searing heat before she told us the key safe number. The fridge needed defrosting, the freezer box was full of ice, which made it smaller than ever. The pots and pans needed washing before we used them. The extractor fan was absent although the hole was still there housing a few cobwebs. The toilet in the bathroom hadn't been fully cleaned and the pedestal mats hadn't been washed. The toilet in the separate toilet also wasn't thoroughly cleaned, that whole area needed cleaning and the rusty ironing board needed removing , also the pedestal mat hadn't been washed. There was a hoover left in the living room, but when I came to use it ,that wasn't working properly. There were lots of games etc for kids in two cupboards, which was great but two cupboards were full of junk....out of date brochures etc. using cupboards that a family would need. The place needed a really good deep clean, it obviously hadn't been cleaned properly for a long while. I would suggest cleaning the big window to the front at least weekly for a fabulous sea view. There was also a terrible trip hazard of loose mats on the steps going into the caravan which i immediately removed for our safety. I have informed Alice of these issues but she didn't seem too bothered just told me not to bother to leave a review, because of her attitude I felt even more inclined to alert others.

Brilliant place for a family getaway.

Very comfortable for our stay with 2 adults and 2 children. Kitchen equipped with everything we needed to cook. The beds were very comfortable with warm duvets. The caravan is far enough away from the facilities that we didn’t get a lot of noise in the evenings. Lovely sea views. Alice was very accommodating and helpful and the caravan was as stocked with the essentials for when we arrived.

− There was nothing that we didn’t like.

A lovely location for a break away, ideally suited for families or people just wanting to relax.

great location, caravan tidy and nice. The views out of the main front window are fantastic. The caravan is fully furnished, including board games, dvd's, tea, coffee, shampoo etc, you only need to bring towels really

− We were the first booking of the year which meant the water had to be switched on, not really a dislike as its normal, but theres a box to write in so i did, and thats the only aspect i can add as a negative if i really try, honestly its a good caravan in a good site.
