Very peaceful rural comfortable cottage.

Liz was very friendly and welcoming, and her husband was friendly and chatty (especially if you like cricket!). A comfortable cottage, in a super-peaceful location at the end of a rough farm track, so utterly quiet. It you want peace and calm for a few days, with some interesting locations within short-is driving distances (but not on the doorstep) this is your place. Decent fast wifi.

Be careful going down the very rough (shared) farm track. My one possible criticism of the cottage is that there are a few too many ornaments and knick knacks - we worried we'd knock some over :).

It is a pretty lovely stay overall

There is a large space, there is a wood burner and dry woods are provided during colder times. The house owner lives next door and was very lovely. It is clean.

We did ran out of hot water after around 10 minutes of shower, and so some of us didn’t even have water to shower. However this issue was resolved on the next day and didn’t happen again on the following 2 days. The bed is slightly too soft. The location is slightly inconvenient

Well maintained and furnished. Lots of thoughtful touches, like towels for drying dogs, throws for sofa, lovely soft duvets and pillows. Really comfortable.

Cosy, comfortable cottage in a quiet rural location.

The cottage was well equipped, cosy & comfortable. Liz was very welcoming leaving fresh eggs from her free range chickens, milk & biscuits plus all the other essentials. There was even a wood burning stove if you wished to use it.

We felt the heating could have been put on for our arrival as with the weather it felt a little cold on entering the cottage but soon heated up.
