Heaven on Earth
8.0Comfort as if it were your own home, everything was thought of. Didn't want or need for anything more. The setting in nature was absolutely unreal, so peaceful and quiet. The indoor fireplace helped tremendously with heating up indoors when the rainy weather rolled in. Made for a cozy, romantic setting at night. Would definitely recommend it to others, although I would also prefer to keep this gem to myself.
− Be prepared for the long dirt road for the last 40kms of your trip. Although, it was totally worth it.

− All the water inside the house were cut off every time there is load-shedding.

5.0Beautiful Apartment in the middle of nowhere. Everything is new and in good conditions. Also the outside Braai is nice.
− We didn‘t have warm water so it wasn‘t possible to use the outside bathtub. We contacted the owner but they only said „thank you for the feedback“. It is a way too pricy without warm water. We would not recommend it, when you book it only because of the outside bathtub.
Exceptional
10.0This place is an absolute gem! The owners have restored an old ruin to five star luxury status - everything is brand new and works like a charm. The peace and feeling of space are exceptional - you must try the outdoor bath with views that go on forever! And the night skies will just blow your mind ... The house has uncapped WiFi, super comfortable beds, monogrammed linen, endless hot water for long lazy outdoor baths and it will be incredible in winter with a closed combustion fireplace waiting to warm you after a chilly walk to the river and back. It is a perfect place to hang out with someone special for a few days, or even write that book ... although it is also an easy walk to the Inhoek farmhouse, where the rest of our party were staying,
