Peaceful farm getaway with incredible views
10.0An absolute gem of a getaway. The views from the stoep are breathtaking, and there's something so special about coming back to a cosy lounge with a fireplace at the heart of it, exactly what a weekend escape should feel like. The farm has a beautiful, unhurried atmosphere, and Neil and his wife are the warmest hosts, they make you feel genuinely welcome from the moment you arrive. The dam is perfect for a swim, and if you feel like exploring, Greyton town is just a short drive away. We left feeling completely restored. Highly recommend, you won't want to leave.

9.0Tranquility, peace and quiet. Everything you need. Kids played and played. Road their bikes and had a wonderful swim in the dam.
It’s the perfect breakaway from the city if you just want peace and quiet.
10.0The rustic farm experience with plenty of animals around.

Beautiful, peaceful farm with stunning views and a charming duck pond, well worth the drive.
10.0What a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The views are stunning and the serenity of the farm is something special. It’s a little far out, but the quiet and sense of peace you experience makes it absolutely worth the trip. Sitting by the duck pond in front of the house was a highlight and added so much charm to the stay. A perfect spot to relax and unwind.
It was the perfect mix of nature, relaxation, and family time.

Nice, but not quite what the pictures show
7.0Lovely open plan cottage. Stunning views all around of the beautiful mountains and looking down towards the river watched lots of bird life. Very peaceful, loved just sitting on the stoep and staring at the beauty around us. Lots of angora goats on the property, but they ran away from us, not friendly at all, wanted nothing to do with us is fact - not what we thought they'd be like, going on the pictures shown 😖
− The duck pond in front of our house was completely dried up and was quite a blaring eye sore on arrival. We did get used to it, and our boy ended up quite enjoying playing in it, so not all bad I guess, just not at all what we were expecting. It looked so tranquil in the photographs, yet quite the opposite while we were there due to the drought. Thankfully the owner could pump more water into his dam at the top of the property for us to swim in to cool down. Before this was done our tap water was very brown as well.
