The location and Rosa manager

− The water leaking from the light fixture, the power outage. Good thing I brought a flashlight. We couldn’t sleep from the banging and drilling from construction, the scaffolding preventing the windows opening & the owner chose to ignore the refund request saying we were “unaffected “ by the renovation. Unethical to rent in a building under massive construction causing these problems.

The manager of the apartment, Rosa, was very responsive, kind, and helpful. The apartment actually has 3 bedrooms, not 2, which was a wonderful surprise. It is an extremely large apartment with plenty of space. The location is great too - it is close to so many famous landmarks.

− There was a couch and chair in the dining room. Would have preferred to have those separate since the dining room was very dark and a bit crowded with so much furniture. The building is under construction. This prevents the shutters and from being opened due to the scaffolding. Although it did not impact us since we were there over the weekend and so there was no construction noise, I would caution people from staying there during the week. The drilling noise was extremely loud starting at 8 am on Monday morning before we checked out of the apartment.

Nothing at all.

− The entire building was under renovation, a fact that was not disclosed at the time of the booking. On the first night, there was a major leak, a stream of water poured from the ceiling lamp over our bed and our luggage, and the electricity went off. The construction noise, early in the morning was absurd. We just couldn;t stay any longer and had to move , at our own expenses to a hotel. Neither the property manager nor the owner were of any help. They just said they couldn't do anything about it.

The stay was very good, location is one of the best, Rosa was very attentive

A very nice and well maintained unit in a great location, perfect for my family.

The apartment actually has 3 bedrooms, which made it very convenient for my family. The rooms were clean and well equipped. Easy to use and access. The location was outstanding.

− The building is still undergoing renovation. This didn't create any disturbances or challenges, but just made it feel a little less than ideal.
