Disappointing due to maintenance issues, lack of basic amenities and poor communication
4.0The apartment is very spacious, with large bedrooms and a good central location in Düren. Shops, restaurants and other facilities are within walking distance, which is convenient.
− Unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing. The beds were uncomfortable due to damaged slatted bases: several slats were broken or missing, and some even fell out when turning in bed. Although we clearly indicated that we would stay with 4 people, there were only 2 towels provided. Apart from bed linen, there was no other textile at all (no bath mat, no kitchen towel, no tea towel). We contacted the host twice to ask for additional towels but never received a response. Instead, the only message we received was a repeated request to leave a good review, which felt inappropriate given that our issue was not addressed. In addition, there were several maintenance problems: the dishwasher showed an error message, a knob was missing from the stove, there was no plug for the bathtub (making it unusable as a bath), and the shower head only partially worked. The living room had no curtains; although there were shutters, these did not function, meaning there was no privacy as neighbors could look straight into the apartment. Overall, despite the space and location, the lack of basic amenities, maintenance issues and poor communication from the host resulted in an unsatisfactory stay.

− No microwave or garbage bags. And the blinds wouldn’t close. Contacted the host for an iron on booking.com messages and host never responded.
Vermijd absoluut om dit appartement te reserveren. Voldoet in geen enkel opzicht!
2.0− 1. Afwasmachine was stuk , stonk en lag vol etensresten, host zij per telefoon dat het spijtig was maar dat hij er niets kon aan doen. 2. er was slechts 1 handdoek in de badkamer voor 4 personen. Host ging ervoor zorgen dat extra handdoeken werden geleverd maar we hebben ze niet gezien. 3. Latten van de bedden zijn verwijderd of gebroken. 4. bij fornuis ontbreekt knop om vuur aan te steken. 5. er is geen stop aanwezig om was bak af te sluiten (nodig daar vaatwasser stuk was). 5. één van de branddetectoren ligt gewoon in de kast. 6. er waren maar 3 stoelen in het appartement voor 4 gasten. 7. de oven stinkt als je hem opendoet, zeker niet bruikbaar. 8. gordijnen in de kamer hangen los 9. de Host vraagt om geen negatieve review te plaatsen op booking maar mail te sturen indien er iets niet werkt. Onbegrijpelijk dat een host dit durft te vragen maar begrijpelijk als je ziet hoe slecht de kwaliteit is van het appartement.
