10.0Lo recomendamos muchísimo !!! Me gustó mucho la limpieza, la ubicación céntrica, las camas cómodas, que encontramos una botella con agua súper necesaria! Jabones, shampoo, todo lo necesario .. no lo esperábamos. Todo en buen estado, y sobre todo la amabilidad y servicio recibido realmente nos encantó !!! Entramos más tarde que la hora de check in y estuvieron pendientes de nosotros en todo momento hasta que llegamos con bien. El parqueo también estaba muy bien y sin costo extra y era algo que necesitábamos.

6.0It's a nice room, more than basic, not badly decorated. The location is 3 blocks from the central park, which is pleasant. I don't think it's too challenging to walk to the ruins from there. I would stay again except for the horrible check-in experience.
− Check-in was just miserable. The listing says explicitly that cash is NOT accepted. Upon arrival, instead of tapping my card on the same common device that everyone else in town and in Guatemala has, I unsuccessfully entered my card number, passport number, etc, etc, etc. literally 5 or 6 times in the staff member's cell phone. Finally he asked for cash. I had no lempiras, no dollars, and not enough quetzales -- I was counting on using my card. So I offered to take care of it in the morning. He had to call the boss for about the third time for an OK. All this wasn't fast, and I was pretty tired to begin with. Another review described the staff member getting angry, but my experience was that he was embarrassed and apologetic, so no problem there. But other guests might have gotten pretty angry. (Just another story to tell for me.)
Wonderful inexpensive place
10.0Great staff. Very helpful with check in. WiFi didn't work in Room 1, so they moved me. Roberto was easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.
− Request an upper Room (no noise from above) and definitely not Room 1 (too far from WiFi source).
