Luxury cottage located in the Golden Circle, mountain view!

Great place to stay on the golden circle.

Great location on the golden circle. We loved the hot tub. There are so many great sights nearby we didn’t get to spend much time there but we loved our visit as a family of 5 adults.

− A few more sauce pans especially one with a lid and a colander would have made cooking easier for a large family but generally the cottage was well equipped.

Het huis ligt op een prachtige locatie, midden in de natuur met alle ruimte en vrijheid. Wij verbleven met zijn vijven en hadden meer dan voldoende ruimte. Het was heel fijn dat wij gebruik mochten maken van de hottub en de BBQ.

− Alles beviel heel goed

The location was lovely however we were disappointed with our stay and felt it did not live up to its “luxury” namesake.

The location was lovely…very beautiful and remote. The family room / dining room area was very spacious. We appreciated the gifts of chocolate that were left for us to enjoy.

− We felt that there were a few items that were not up to standard based on the price. * no black out curtains in one of the bedrooms making it difficult to sleep in July. All other places we stayed in Iceland over our 10 day holiday included these curtains. * one bed was not made up and unable to find bedding therefore one guest had to sleep in a bed with no duvet cover or pillow case. * no information provided upon arrival regarding wifi, location of additional toilet paper, location of washing machine and information on how to use hot tub. * we should have been informed about dog crate and dog bed in family room based on potential allergies. * very steep cleaning fee and we found areas of the house that could definitely be better organized and cleaner.

− היינו 7 אנשים, היה מקלחת ושירותים אחד. זה היה לא נוח. חלק מהמגבות שהשאירו לנו היו רטובות. היה קשה למצוא את הבקתה

戶外熱水池故障，然後打掃人員出了狀況，導致整體整潔度不佳。很可惜，不然會是個很舒服的地方。處理上算是還有責任感。所以給9分！

The house in general was very spacious and clean in nice surroundings with very good directions on how to find it.

− However the kitchen wasn't clean. The refigerator hadn't been fully cleaned and there was food splashes behind the hob. We didn't have sufficient cutlery, there was only three butter knives and one teaspoon. The kitchen was very small compared to the rest of the house. The second of the bedrooms with 2 single beds had a big metal tank over it which should really be boxed in. The hot tub wasn't working but I guess these things happen.
