A cosy, autumnal getaway in the Highlands.
10.0All 12 of us absolutely loved our stay at Garbity. • The location was great – quiet but easy to access other places (such as shops in Elgin, the seaside at Lossiemouth or Landmark adventure park near Aviemore). And only a short walk from the banks of the Spey, which was great for stone skimming. • The house was huge! An ideal size for nine adults and three kids. The large kitchen made cooking easy, and the three lounge/chill out spaces were great for quiet reading time, or noisy boardgames! The fires came with everything we needed to light them and create a cosy autumn atmosphere. The bedrooms varied in size but were all incredibly comfortable and well appointed. And everyone having their own bathroom made sharing the space so much easier. • The team were communicative and very accommodating when we asked for two of the rooms to be set up as twins. They were even so kind as to send my cousin's toy that she had left back to her! The perfect place for a big family holiday, and we will definitely be back.
