Zeer warm welkom door de sympathieke eigenaar. Fantastisch huisje. Heerlijke douche en heerlijk bed. Ruim opgezette lodge Allerlei lekkers bij aankomst, ook een zeer goed gevulde koelkast. Luxe en ontspannen verblijf!!!

Sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Vermieter. Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen und es gibt die Möglichkeit eines kleinen Spaziergangs zu einem Fluss mit Wasserfall. Die Unterkunft ist mit allem Dingen ausgestattet, die man benötigt. Es gibt sogar Gummistiefel falls es einmal geregnet hat.

− Die Entfernung zu den bekannteren Sehenswürdigkeiten, wie z.B. den Ring of Kerry oder dem Killarney Nationalpark, sind ca. 1,5 Fahrstunden entfernt.

perfect little getaway in the irish countryside

perfect little cabin in the countryside, ideal to explore the south west of Ireland. the cabin is fully equipped, we even got chocolate and wine as a welcome gift. it is very clean and well kept. we enjoyed our short stay there, would love to come back someday. Séamus the host is lovely and is available by phone if you need anything or if there is a problem.

− this is definitely moaning on a high level....the bed is 1.40m and for me and my friend it was a bit too small. perfect though for a couple or friends that don't care. but like I said, that is just our personal preferences and has nothing to do with the cabin itself. maybe just something that you need to bare in mind. but really, nothing to complain - we loved it

I didn't end up staying at the Gamekeepers cabin but in the main lodge penthouse apartment, The lodge was absolutely amazing! Great comfortable bed and linens (key for me!), fresh bread and the best scones I've ever had waiting for me upon arrival. The house decor was designer level (Dali busts in the courtyard :)) and the apartment was very well equipped. I hope to bring my whole family and rent out the complete lodge! A definite highlight to my trip through Ireland!

A peaceful country location with good access by road to towns/places of interest in Limerick and Kerry. There is on-site parking. I was very comfortable at the Cabin. There is a really pleasant vibe. It is tastefully decorated throughout and provided all I needed to feel at home. There is good Wi-Fi connection and TV. Comfortable furniture. The kitchen area has high-end appliances, crockery and utensils for self-catering. The bedroom is spacious with a large comfortable double bed and a large wardrobe and clothes hangers. The en-suite shower room had good quality towels and toiletries. I loved the power shower (large overhead and adjustable small head) and hot water is immediate. The view from the property is beautiful. The owners were kind and generous and left a selection of food as a welcome to the Cabin. They give you privacy but are attentive and responsive if you need assistance with anything. I was staying on my own as a base to visit relatives around the area but I felt safe and comfortable.
