We paid premium prices, we felt like it was not worth it.
5.0The location was good, relatively close to the beach.
− The entire place smelled very musty, like it hadn't been visited for quite a while, and needed to be aired out. It didn't feel like a warm welcome, since we had to call for the access codes, and there was no toilet paper at all, so the first thing we needed to do was go out and buy necessities. It's a nice house, but the overall experience was not what we expected for this price.

− Was not cleaned on arrival. Apparently host was not aware of our reservation. Had to wait for someone to arrive and clean. Hence we could get into our rooms by 7pm only. Communication by host could have been better. Check in instructions were not up to date. Beds were rather small

10.0Everything, it was very respectfully prepared for us. It’s beautiful, have every appliances that we need, every detergent needed. Towels and bedding are neatly packed for when we need change of anything.

Nice stay at a spacious house in Onrus, close to Hermanus. Ideal for the beach
7.0The house is big and nicely decorated. all the essential basics are there. Onrus, the little town where the house is located, is a really nice and save and has a great beach where you can surf. The restaurant at the beach is great.
− The house address on booking is not clear: this house is not in Hermanus itself but in a small town on 25 mins walking distance/10 mins driving from Hermanus. Since the exact same street name and number exist in Hermanus centre we believed it was there. We only understood it was not in Hermanus centre when the agency send us the full address so this felt quite misleading and annoying.
