Perfect nest in Knysna
10.0What an idyllic home base from which to explore the endless attractions of Knysna area. Communications with the owner/manager Alma were excellent. She was waiting for us on arrival to welcome us & show us around the property, even lending us bikes - and kept in regular touch throughout our stay. The property itself is gorgeous. Spacious, secure, stylish and very well equipped. Comfy Bed and linens all high quality. Best of all tho is the outdoor space, with gorgeous views over the lagoon and beyond. The pool, comfy recliners and braii all lend a relaxing resort vibe for enjoying downtime. We lucked out with gorgeous weather - but there are snug blankets and a fire for cooler nights. And at the bottom of the garden is the coast path for brief stroll into town or Thesen Island. The Heads & Leisure Island slightly further in other direction. We walked easily to the Bosuns Arms, the Gin Distillery and Redbridge Brewery during the day & in evenings took advantage of the restaurant tips provided in the house manual - all meals out fabulous.
