The location was the only positive about this property

− This property is anything BUT stunning!! Our recent stay at the property in Angel was deeply disappointing. The house was in poor condition and did not match the description in the listing. It was dirty throughout — the cupboards, carpets, sofa, cutlery, and pillowcases were all unhygienic, and there was visible mould on the bathroom ceiling. There were no basic amenities like wine glasses, and the place felt completely empty and uninviting, lacking any warmth, décor, or character. Most shockingly, one of the bedrooms didn’t even have a door, which made the stay uncomfortable and unsuitable for guests. Overall, the property was far below the advertised standard, and we were very unhappy with the cleanliness, comfort, and overall experience.

Location

− No communication from the host, was only after I reached out for instructions on how to access the property and then nothing after that. No manual/instructions provided. The front door keylock to get into the property is almost impossible, found the wifi password 2 days in stuck on a wall, kitchen did not feel clean (washed any dishes before using), only 1 champagne glass (no wine glasses), no dishwasher which is fine but there was no dish cloths or tea towels provided to wash/dry dishes, had to hunt in cupboards upstairs for bath towels etc, no hot water on last day, power point in main bedroom you have to climb over bed and use an extension cord on the floor, no door on second bedroom, lots of stairs.

Unfortunately not a great stay. Property didn’t live up to expectations.

Location was good

− Accessing the property was an issue, the keys didn’t work, the owner brought us a replacement but it meant we had to cancel dinner plans to go somewhere around the corner while we waited for a reply as we had no where to get ready or leave our cases. The replacement key wasn’t the best so we struggled to get in over the 2 days. The shower flooded, the drain needs unclogged. The living room and kitchen light didn’t work, we found the fuse was off so we turned it back on then there was a strange crackling noise coming from the hall light (missing lightbulb here) we were scared of causing a fire so turned all the lights back off which meant we couldn’t use the living room and kitchen areas. The flat wasn’t the cleanest, there were stray hairs in the bathroom, it wasn’t as well kept as the pictures make out. No hand towel in the bathroom either. There was no door on the second bedroom meaning lack of privacy, as we were two colleagues sharing the flat this mattered to us. It also meant I was woken up early as I’m a later riser and my colleague gets up at 6am. I was disturbed by her going to the bathroom in the night too. It was very loud at night, the windows are single glazing which meant we were also kept awake by lots of outside noise so it wasn’t ideal. The beds were comfy and the location was very good.

Great location, close to St Pancrass, tube station, many bus lines!

− For a 4 persons stay, 1 chair and 1 set of cutlery missing. No bath mat. Main room is noisy, 2nd room has no door. Lighting is really too strong. Small details easy to sort by owners.

− Bedden zijn slecht bank in de huis kamer uitgewoond en vies bestek ed in slechte staat en het meeste was er niet keuken was prima maar de tafel die erin stond niet al te best en voor drie personen een stoel. was fijner geweest wanneer er een deur in de tweede slaapkamer had gezeten wc stond los de verlichting zeer matig het was alles of niets

We enjoyed our 4-night stay in London. Despite the accommodation.

Comfortable bed. Good location close to amenities and public transport options.

− The description said stunning. What was stunning was that the second bedroom didn’t have a door. That there were no wine glasses. No bed lamps in the first bedroom. Nor a T-towel. When I enquired asking whether I was looking in the right place for a T-towel I received no response. And the apartment is over three levels - entrance hall on the ground; up to living area and kitchen; third level bedrooms and bathroom. Maybe I missed that in the description. It wasn’t made obvious. It should be spelled out.
