9.0Nice village on edge of North York Moors close to Roseberry Topping. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds.
− Fire alarm beeping due to low battery. Only 4 mugs with 5 staying. No tea towels. Only two large towels. the first 2 were quickly rectified by the owner following a phone call.

7.0Lovely location and the house has been decorated nicely. The kitchen was really well equipped. The shower was fantastic. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and thought the house was good value for money. Just a few little niggles with the cleanliness.
− Some of the decor was a bit tired - a couple of areas that need repainting/touching up from what looked like water damage. A lot of cobwebs in the downstairs bathroom and a lot of dog hairs on the carpets. There was a dirty fork in one of the bedrooms. The backyard also had a pile of what looked like bags of dog poo in it.

10.0Absolutely beautiful house, so tastefully decorated. The beds were really comfortable. Great communication from the owners, who emailed all the info, and advised they were available if we had any issues. Great location for visiting my friends near Northallerton, and also for visiting Whitby.
