Overall very good, beds could be made more comfortable

Really liked the communal spaces. Think the kitchen could have more basics provided…maybe olive oil, balsamic vinegar, margarine etc

The bed mattress felt a bit like a camp bed so wasn’t the most comfortable sleep.

A great base for a Christmas gathering but with premium pricing expected higher cleanliness

Main room areas, fireplace, large table, Christmas tree

Soft furnishings tired and stained, needed a deep clean

Poor value for money

We were attending a large function at the East Horton golfclub and this was a convenient distance away. We just needed a base to sleep and travel from. There are 4 double bedrooms albeit they are compact. There is a large entrance hall/kitchen/dining area with a big table which makes an ideal sit down and chat spot. There is a large sitting room on the upper half floor but we did not use that. 2 bathrooms including the one ensuite shower room There are electric car charging points (paying) which we did not need.

This was way way way overpriced for what it is. It has a plasticky feel. For £75 more per night we have stayed in a castle lodge in a famous castle with 24 hour access to fantastic views with acres of gardens, a lake and a tennis court all with en suite, wood panelling and original art work on the walls. This house is in the same price range but a totally different division. Luxury hotel prices without the luxury. This house by comparison has tacky wall decoration, a upvc entrance door which does not fit or shut properly, where when you switch on the bedroom lights you can see dust hanging in the air, where the pillows feel.like bullets and where the shower rooms with a massive but cheaply made shower head turn the shower rooms into wet rooms. There is no garden or view and a small patch of plastic grass. I would stay in a decent hotel nearby next time. It was a good geographical base to launch from but I do not think it would be a good place for a family holiday

Perfect location for our wedding venue.

Everything was great but spare bin bags would have been useful.

Had a great Hen weekend here, perfect location for it.

The barn was very modern, tidy and the beds were very comfortable. It was a great place to have my chilled hen do. We made good use of the hot-tub and outdoor area and the neighbours were very friendly and chatty. The host was also very responsive and answered any questions I had leading up to and during our stay and she was quick to resolve any issues we had.

We had a couple of nights stay celebrating our daughter’s graduation from Southampton University. The place was ideal, beautiful area and excellent amenities. The host was informative and we had no issues using any of the lovely extras provided. Would highly recommend this as a great place to celebrate with family and friends.

No issues
