The design of the property as it was very modern, and the patio was amazing. Kids loved it especially the patio.

Honestly, I didn't like much about this apartment. It looked great in the photos / write up but the reality was awful.

− Although I paid for a cleaning fee when I booked with booking.com I was then charged another cleaning fee by the management agent before they would give me the code to access the key to the property. Once inside the apartment, all the windows were open to disguise a blocked drain smell. Many air fresheners were dotted around the apartment also to disguise the smell - but they did not work. There were scuffs on the walls and the furniture was old and tattered. I found empty wrappers under the bed, black mould on the window sill of the back bedroom and damp on the wall of another. The mattresses on the beds were soft with toppers that did not help and the pillows were cheap and flat. The heating was intermittent and the kitchen hob was worn and unclean. I could understand if this property was priced appropriately - at maybe £40 per night - but I paid over the odds for this and was charged twice for the cleaning fee! The apartment has not been maintained and as a landlord myself, I can see where corners have been cut in refurbishing this property. For instance, the laminate had been laid over uneven flooring. It was coming up in places and had been screwed down to secure it. This apartment is not fit for purpose, and I have multiple photos to prove it - unfortunately, this software only allows 4 uploads. Needless to say, it was an uncomfortable stay. Never again!
