If you want to risk subjecting yourself to an inexplicable sewage odor, this is the place for you.

The location is central. The decor is nicely done.

− When we contacted the manager after arriving back at 22:00 the first evening of our stay to an overwhelming sewage odor from the lower level bathrooms, bedroom, and under the sink, we were told that she did not know what it was, that it had never happened before. Her advice was to run the water and open the windows and that “may” make it go away. There was no offer to come over or send someone over to investigate. We did as instructed and it did not work. We contacted her again to say so. She apologized, made no offer to solve the problem. Considering it never happened before and there is always “a first time for anything,” this is not the response you want on a once in a lifetime trip. We slept on the living area on the couch. As I type this before checkout, there is still a sewage oder wafting around from time to time. All four guests were affected. We were offered $100 euros off a two night stay that cost almost $400 euros a night for this gross experience. The carpets are tripping hazards. There was a sewer fly found dead stuck to the sheets and a live one found near the toilet in the bathroom. I wish I could upload smell-vision. Dried food stuck on several chairs, hairs of various natures and a layer of grime inside the washing machine window. Reply to Property re response: Again, we were told that night to try something on our own, they DID NOT TRY TO COME OVER THAT NIGHT TO HELP SOLVE THE PROBLEM. The offer was to come over the next day, after we had to make up a fold out couch ourselves and sleep with the odor, that we were offerred help and ONLY after we complained a second time that their "suggestions" to resolve it on our own did not work. Again, I suggest that if something goes horribly wrong, the property owner attempt to solve it immediately after reporting it, not wait until the next day when we may be using the apartment or taking a nap! The same maid service is going to interrupt us that did not do a good job the first time! Good grief.

Appartamento bellissimo, funzionale e arredato con molto gusto. La terrazza è magnifica e si affaccia su una splendida chiesa e piazzetta molto tipica. Le stanze sono spaziose e le differenti aree sono suddivise con estrema razionalità.

Siliva meet us and showed us everything in the apartment. She was wonderful with a fabulous personality! The apartment was perfect, , immaculate, very high quality furnishings and decorative touches throughout. Extra comfy beds, beautiful and quiet neighborhoods, and fantastic terrace. Highly recommend!

Beautiful big property with 3 bedrooms each with their own bathroom! We ate breakfast on the rooftop everyday and it was a great place to chill out after a day of exploring town. Apartment is only a 7 min walk to the center of town, and has a couple of cafes in the square where it’s located.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa San Lio. The apartment was spotless, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep. The location is excellent — close to the historic center, restaurants, and cafés, yet quiet enough to relax. The host was welcoming, responsive, and made check-in very smooth. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Noto, and I’d be happy to stay here again.
