The beautiful cottages are set in a lovely quiet rural setting, surrounded by a lovely garden / park. The swimming pool was nice. The restaurant connected to the accommodation is very good albeit a bit pricey. Be aware that there are two parts to the property that are quite different in style. We were in the upper, more traditional looking place. The cottages are very cute and comfortable. The semi-outdoor bathroom is nice.

− The accommodation is not within walking distance to any major sights, shops or other restaurants. You will need your own transport. Walking around the neighbourhood is nice, though. We stayed here because we wanted to visit the nearby Sun School, which can be reached on foot in 45 minutes.

− 1.Approaching road is so bad. 2.The air smells bad because of the livestock (cows) in front of the hotel. 3.The shower only has cold water, and the water pressure is weak yoo, which makes it uncomfortable.

The location is convenient, with two pleasant warungs nearby and White Sand Beach only a short distance away, beautiful local beach for sunsets and snorkeling. The lodge itself offers good privacy. The staff are friendly and try to be helpful, although communication can be limited due to their limited English.

− I normally never feel the need to write a review, but in this case I feel it’s important for future travellers’ safety and comfort. Please check the conditions for yourself before booking. Unfortunately, our overall experience was very disappointing due to several serious issues that directly affected our stay. Upon arrival, the kitchen was not being shown and we had to ask twice to eventually see the place. We had a brief look in the late afternoon. But when we wanted to cook some noodles around 9PM, we were absolutely in shock of the situation as we enter the kitchen. We personally saw around eight rats running over the walls and across the cooking stove in different directions. Couple of days after witnessing this did we check the surroundings more carefully, and we discovered that trash had been left for days, both inside the kitchen (in the same closed trash bag) and piled underneath the house right next to the kitchen area. This likely explains the rodent problem. Despite informing the host about this early in our stay, nothing was done to address or improve the situation. Breakfast was served for the other guests the next day. We Because of these conditions, we could not use the kitchen at all, even though kitchen access was one of the main reasons we booked this place. We also felt uncomfortable taking the included breakfast, since it was still prepared in the same kitchen where we saw rats running across surfaces. This forced us to eat out every morning, resulting in additional daily costs that should not have been necessary. We also didnt want to use the fridge as well as we felt uncomfortable with the given situation and so entering the kitchen. The room itself also had several comfort issues: – No mosquito net, and many mosquitoes entering the room – No hot water – No proper storage space for belongings – Noise disturbances, including mosques early in the morning, karaoke late into the night, and farm animals around the property.

It's a little piece of tucked away paradise. The lotus pond in front of the cottage was so cute! It's about a 20 min walk to the beach and you're in the middle of the village homes. The outdoor bathroom was so nice! The amenities were perfect ☺️

− Bring earplugs, things are loud at night (prayers, bikes, roosters, music, etc)

Le logement est joli, confortable, calme, propre et très bien situé pour faire du snorkeling à Menjangan. Le personnel est très gentil et accueillant.

Me gustó todo, la cabaña está genial, el jardín es precioso, hay intimidad y el desayuno está genial, la fruta fresca por la mañana estaba deliciosa. Estuvimos muy a gusto, tanto que extendimos una noche más.

− La puerta del baño es dificil de abrir desde fuera (desde el baño), a veces la otra persona tenía que abrir. Se resolvería fácil poniendo una manilla dentro del baño. El aire acondicionado no se apagaba pero contactamos con el propietario y nos explicó como desconectarlo.
