Nice country house but transportation was difficult.
9.0Clean View Newly renovated The hosts were helpful and nice. They are living next door with two big dogs.
− The washing machine was broken when we arrived and we were planning for using it after a few days of travel. We were told by the host that it will be replaced 10:00 am next day and we have to vacate the house at that time. There was no compensation offered but we were offered a ride to the supermarket by the host which was very nice gesture. We reached the location by a minivan taxi. The location is 15 minutes walk from the nearest town. The road is narrow and crossing it was a challenge. The problem was to find a car when we were leaving and we had to wait for 4 hours till one of the Taxi companies sent us a car. The lesson her is to come with your rental car or book a car at least one day in advance as Wenderemere is short of Taxis and there was no uber service.

10.0everything. the house was beautiful, well equipped with everything you could possibly need, spotlessly clean, comfortable. lovely welcome pack left by host, games for the children. the perfect place for a staycation
