I had a really nice stay at this vacation home in Gahanna overall. The biggest standout was how clean everything was—it immediately made the space feel comfortable and welcoming. It truly felt like a home away from home. The hosts clearly put thought into stocking the house with essentials and extras, which I really appreciated. The kitchen cabinets were well stocked with coffee, condiments, and other basics, and the bathroom had plenty of shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and even extra blankets. Those little touches made a big difference. The reclining loveseat was incredibly comfortable and quickly became my favorite spot to unwind. The hot tub was also a great feature and very enjoyable, though I will say the steps looked a bit rusty. As someone who is plus-sized, that made me a little nervous using them.

− There were a few downsides during my stay. At one point, I was trying to relax and unexpectedly people showed up to mow the lawn. The noise interrupted what was supposed to be a peaceful moment, and a heads-up would have been appreciated. The shower water pressure was also quite weak, which made it less enjoyable. Additionally, the toilet area is a bit of a tight squeeze for someone plus-sized. There’s only one TV in the living room, which may be perfectly fine for most people, but I personally like to wind down in bed with a show or movie. Having an additional TV in a bedroom would have made the stay even better—just a personal preference. I would also recommend bringing your own pillows if you’re particular about comfort. The pillows in the king-size room were very large, while the ones in the other rooms were quite thin and didn’t offer much support. The beds themselves were a bit too firm for my liking, but that’s definitely a personal preference.

It was ok for what we needed but cleaning staff needs to do better!

We loved the hot tub and the fenced in back yard for our puppy.

− Houses were too close in a residential neighborhood. We didn’t feel like it was very private while being in the hot tub. Also the cleaning staff did not do a great job. We found misc. trash lying around in and outside of the house as well as items of clothing that my puppy found and brought to us!

Wonderful home for couple traveling with pets

Plenty big for two people and two dogs. Much more room than getting a hotel room. Fully fenced yard was a big plus for us; no getting out late at night or early morning to walk dogs. Stayed inside and watched them in fenced yard

− Only one bathroom. Fine for two people but I would hate to have only one bathroom with 4-5 adults

The house was clean and exactly as it appeared in photos. There were a number of small but really nice things that I appreciated. Tissues in every room, a great selection of k cups, dog bones and toys. We loved the hot tub and Nintendo. The host is also super responsive
